These terms set out the conditions for using App Atlas, and the rights and duties of both the reader and the operator.
These terms take effect when posted on the Service. Changes are announced at least 7 days before they start, or at least 30 days before where the change is unfavourable to the reader.
A reader who does not refuse within the announced period is taken to have agreed. A reader who does not agree may close their account at any time.
App data is collected from pages the stores publish to the public. Rights in app names, descriptions, icons, screenshots, review text and the like belong to the app's developer or to the store, and the operator holds no rights in them.
It follows that the operator cannot grant the reader any right to use app data. The reader is responsible for checking that their own use complies with each store's terms, with copyright law and with any other applicable law.
Where a rights holder asks for it, the operator may stop serving the data concerned.
Embedding is free, and the reader may display it on pages they operate. Article 5 applies to the app data an embed shows, exactly as it does elsewhere.
The Service may limit how often requests are accepted, so that it keeps running for everyone. Where a limit applies it is stated on the Service itself.
Where article 7 is broken, or a limit is exceeded repeatedly, the operator may warn, restrict, suspend or terminate. Where the matter is urgent the restriction may come first and the notice after.
The Service is free at present. If paid plans open, their price and conditions are announced beforehand, and nobody is charged unless they choose a paid plan themselves.
The Service may change or stop what it offers. Notice is given beforehand where that is possible, and afterwards where it is not. Uninterrupted operation is not promised.
App data is read from pages other companies publish. When a store changes how its pages are built, or changes its policy, some of it may go missing or become wrong.
The operator does not warrant that app data is accurate, complete or current. Before relying on it for a decision that matters, check it against the original store page.
For free use, the operator is not liable for loss arising from use of the Service, save where the operator acted intentionally or with gross negligence.
For paid use, liability is limited to the total fees paid over the preceding three months. This limit does not apply where the operator acted intentionally or with gross negligence.
The operator is not liable for what it cannot control, including natural disaster, failure of a network or hosting provider, and a store changing its policy.
The reader may close their account at any time from the account page. The operator may terminate after notice where article 7 is broken seriously, and immediately where the matter is urgent.
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Korea, and any dispute goes to the court with jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
The Korean text is the operative one. Where a translation reads differently, the Korean text prevails.
